This policy explains what personal information AnnoTara AI ("we", "us") collects when you visit our website, create an account, or apply to our talent network, and how we use and protect it.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

When you register or apply we collect:

• Your name, email address, phone number (if you add one), country, and city.
• Your preferred role, languages, availability, and work experience.
• Your resume or portfolio file, and a profile photo if you upload one.
• Payment details you choose to save: your payment method (Airtm or Wise), the account holder name, and the email linked to that account.
• Your password, which is stored in protected (hashed) form and is never visible to us.
• Work-related information created after you join, such as assignments, training progress, quality scores, earnings, payout history, and messages.

If you only browse our website, we do not ask for personal information.

3. How we use it

• To create and manage your account and let you sign in.
• To evaluate your application and contact you about suitable projects.
• To run projects, measure quality, calculate earnings, and send payments to the Airtm or Wise account you saved.
• To show your earnings in the currency of your country.
• To check that changes to your payment details are made by you, for example by asking for your password.
• To send account emails, such as email confirmation and password reset.
• To protect our website and prevent misuse.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. Your payment details are visible only to you and to authorized AnnoTara AI administrators who process payouts. We use trusted service providers to operate the website, and they process data only on our behalf:

• Supabase: account sign-in, database, and private file storage.
• Netlify: website hosting.
• Airtm and Wise: when we send you a payment, your payment details are used to complete the transfer. These companies handle your data under their own privacy policies and may ask you to verify your identity with them.

If you join our Discord community, Discord handles that information under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage only to keep you signed in and to remember small preferences, such as whether you have joined our Discord community. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. How long we keep it

We keep application and account information while it is needed to consider you for opportunities or to manage your work, and for a reasonable period afterwards. Payout and payment records may be kept for as long as tax, accounting, or other laws require, even if you delete your account. You can ask us to delete the rest of your information at any time.

7. Security

Resumes are stored in a private bucket, and access to data is restricted by account. Your profile photo is stored so that it can be displayed in your account, and anyone who has the direct link to the image can open it, so please upload only a photo you are comfortable sharing. Changing your payment details requires your password. and connections to our website use HTTPS. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to withdraw your consent, by emailing ai.annotara@annotara.app. You can also change your details, or remove your profile photo, yourself in the dashboard under Profile settings. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable data protection law.

9. Children

Our website and talent network are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
